Fireplace

Adding a fireplace to your master bedroom suite is a must if you want your room to feel luxurious. The fireplace can, of course, heat up the room, but it also helps to create a peaceful or romantic environment.

We can install a gas or electric fireplace, so all you have to do is flip a switch, and your fire is on! Another option is to use your fireplace as a room divider between the bedroom and your master bathroom. Imagine soaking in the tub while watching the flames dance around – so relaxing!

An organized closet will make your mornings so much easier, and the best way to ensure your closet stays organized is by building it custom. 

Of course, you should also include enough shelving and clothing racks to allow your clothing to be easily found, but your closet can also have some fun features that are unique to you. It’s that time of year again. The weather is getting colder, and we’re spending more time at home with the family. 

Whether you’re snuggled up watching a movie or just trying to keep your home warm, a fireplace is a cold-weather necessity. And from a design standpoint, there is a lot you can do with your fireplace to make a statement that reflects your personal style and makes a statement in your home.

In other words, you don’t need to settle for a boring, wooden hearth. You can have some fun with it. If your home needs a fireplace, or you’d like to spruce up an existing one, here are some fireplace trends to give you some inspiration.

Stone Fireplace

A stone fireplace is an excellent option if you’re looking to add texture to your living room. Stone fireplaces have been popular for years, and we don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon, especially since warm, earthy elements are prevalent in-home design trends.

Pairing your stone fireplace with natural wood beams or a wooden mantle is a great way to create a stunning focal point in your space. You could also go with light stone, like travertine, in an all-white room to create a bright, luxurious space. Whatever you decide, a stone fireplace will be a great addition. 

Marble Fireplace

If you’re hoping to create a timeless, luxurious element in your home, a marble fireplace is a great way to do so. Marble comes in many different colors and patterns and can work with just most color palettes. For example, marble can be used against dark walls or built-ins to create a dramatic element in a study or great room. 

Room Divider

Many homeowners are steering away from open-concept spaces and are finding ways to create defined living areas. 

One way to achieve this is by installing a room divider fireplace. These fireplaces work best between a dining space and your living room, but you can get creative and install them elsewhere.

Room divider fireplaces are also helpful in warming multiple areas of your home, which is much needed during the cold winter months.

Minimalist

A newer trend we’ve noticed in home design is the minimalist style. This style avoids intricate detailing and opts for clean, uncluttered lines. This trend is especially prevalent with fireplaces.  

A minimalist-style fireplace blends into the neutral-colored wall. This will allow you to focus on the beauty of the flames instead of all the decorative elements that often surround a fireplace. Gas fireplaces are the best option for this trend since they are simplistic and easily add to an existing space. 

Frameless

Frameless fireplaces are trendy and can make a perfect focal point for any room in your home. Like the minimalist style, frameless fireplaces are usually gas with very little steel or frame and surrounded by marble or stone. 

Frameless fireplaces look great in homes with a modern, high-end feel. They are a great addition to a living room or bathroom that is in need of a sleek finishing touch.
